We're excited to share the latest chapter in Watchpoint Logistics' ongoing commitment to literacy and community development. Continuing our partnership with Books In Homes USA, Watchpoint recently returned to Randall Elementary in Milpitas, CA, for another literacy event.
Our volunteers shared their enthusiasm for literature with young learners in K-7th grade and read various books aloud (in English and Spanish). Paletreo Man by Latin Grammy-winning musician Lucky Diaz and beloved artist Micah Player was the day’s favorite.
In addition to sharing stories, Watchpoint Logistics again supported Books In Homes USA's mission to "end booklessness" by donating 1,000 books for students to add to their home library.
The impact of these events goes beyond the day itself. Improved literacy is vital to supporting stronger, healthier, and more prosperous communities. It's not just about learning to read; it's about reading to learn and grow.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the team members who volunteered their time and to the staff and students at Randall Elementary for their warm welcome and enthusiasm. Your support and participation make these initiatives possible.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with Books In Homes USA and encourage you to join our efforts. When you give directly to Books In Homes, 100% of your donation goes to providing books for children to promote a lifelong love of reading.
