Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT)

As long as all shipments containing HAZMAT are properly classified, described, packaged, marked, labeled, and in proper condition for transport according to 49 CFR, Watchpoint can handle the logistics for you. Watchpoint only accepts certain HAZMAT for transport. The following items will not be accepted for transport:

Radioactive materials regulated by the US DOT

Biological hazards such as blood, urine, or other bodily fluids and substances
Restricted Articles – Household Goods (HHG)
As a full service, global freight forwarder, Watchpoint can orchestrate the transport of HHG when the shipment is picked up and delivered within our territory and meets other requirements including:

The freight BOL must state that the articles are released to a value NOT TO EXCEED $0.10 per LB at Class 100 (no lower class exceptions).

The consignee's name and address on the BOL match the consignee's name and address on the freight.
